Earlier this year I reviewed the LG Twin Wash washing machine that was gifted to us.

Since then I have noticed how much time this machine saves us and a few other little handy tricks that I wanted to share.

This washing machine is an investment at a higher price point so I want to make sure that if you’re considering it, you know all the amazing things it can do and how it will save you time, money and help your mum-brain moments too (also so you can convince your hubby you need it ).

Don’t forget this washing machine is actually two washing machines and a dryer in one, and replaces the need for two separate appliances.

1.       YOU FORGOT TO WASH YOUR KID SCHOOL/SPORTS UNIFORMS OR THAT OUTFIT YOU WANTED TO WEAR FOR DATE NIGHT?

Never fear, your forgetful mum brain will be saved by the Turbo Wash feature that cuts your wash time by up to 20 minutes without compromising on the quality of the wash. Unlike traditional “speed wash” features you can do a full load quicker.

 

2.       CUT YOUR HOUSE WORK TIME.

I spoke about this in my last blog but the best feature about this washing machine is the HUGE loads it does. The giant 16kg front loader + the smaller 2.5kg Mini wash drawer will cut your washing time down by so much! We can do our whole weeks washing in just a couple of loads, plus we never need to wait for ages to have a full load of whites when we can just chuck them in the bottom smaller drawer and get them done at the same time. The mini load is also perfect for messy toddlers who easily stain their outfits daily!

Another amazing feature about this machine is that it has the ability to attack stains with the True Steam feature that allows steam to clean on a microscopic level. Less time trying to remove stains and less money replacing stained clothing is a winner!

Note: Less time washing = more time relaxing or pretending you’re washing to get some quiet time alone to eat chocolate or read a book.

 

 

3.       THE HUSBAND WILL EVEN HELP.

With the mini load drawer, the husband can easily throw his gym clothes in after his workout so you don’t end up with loads of stinky washing waiting to be done. This washer is so easy to use that even the hubby will be happy to do it. My husband actually helps takes care of the washing in our household and loves the fact that we can do most the washing in just a couple of loads per week. Also, if your hubby is a tech lover he will love the smart capabilities of this washing machine.

Note: I cannot 100% guarantee your husband will help.

4.       YOU FORGOT TO TAKE THE WASHING OUT OF THE WASHING MACHINE AND HANG IT OUT?

How many times has this happened to you? Seriously I couldn’t tell you the amount of times I’ve been out and about and remembered that the washing was still sitting in there wet #mumbrain.

With the LG Smart Thinq app you can remotely start your washer/dryer and monitor its progress this app will also allow to download new wash cycles.

It’s perfect if you know you’ll be home late so you can load up the washer and then remotely start it, so when you get home it’s ready to be hung out.

5.       YOU’VE STARTED THE LOAD ONLY TO REALISE YOU MISSED A FEW ITEMS?

Once again, this smart machine will save you. The LG Twin Wash front loader has a “Add Items” function which actually allows you to pause the load and add to it! Umm… AMAZING!

6.       SAVE MONEY ON CALL OUTS PLUS AN EXTENDED WARRANTY.

As I said at the start this appliance is an investment and is at a higher price, but I believe it could actually save you money over time with its 10 year Inverter Direct Drive Motor Parts Warranty period.

The other smart and helpful way it could save you money is with its Smart Diagnosis Feature through the Smart THINQ app which trouble shoots issues and problems and allows the machine to literally talk for itself and find a solution to the problem meaning you save money on unnecessary call outs.

 

Anyway, I think I’ve just realized I really am an adult living an adult life now because I never thought I could love a home appliance this much.
