When I see this photo so many emotions come back. It takes me right back to those first few days after birth.

Everything hurts.

Everything is sensitive.

Your emotions are high.

Your hormones are crazy.

Time seems to stop and you’re in your own baby bubble.

Your heart is so full and you’re oh so in love.

It’s not always pretty but yet it’s the most beautiful thing you’ll ever experience.

Your body is empty again yet it doesn’t feel like your own still. 

These days I will forever hold close to my heart and I hope they stay as vididly in my mind as they do right now.
